The Best PreK or Preschool in Nashville

I found the best preschool in Nashville.  I did.
Crievewood Baptist Church.
Amazing, Godly teachers with hearts of gold and a mastery of teaching PreK children.

My daughter was at a preschool this fall that didn't allow her to be successful.  Too many details to explain, but as a former teacher, I continued to have warning signs that my daughter was in the wrong place.
Christ Church was a good experience for my son, but that was three years ago before the program submarined into utter disappointment.  And now I actually wish I would have known about Crievewood Baptist Church back then.  My son would have loved it, absolutely loved it.

I had a friend who told me about the PreK program and how amazing it was.  So, after spending some time on the phone with the teacher and director, I was impressed and wanted to visit and see if it truly was the match I was praying for.
Five minutes in that classroom watching the children, seeing the hands-on activities, watching the teachers interact with the students, I knew this was the place.

My daughter went from having a bad report/bad day every third day at the former program (I kept her folder, seriously every third day) to having smiles when I come pick her up and feeling so good about her day at her new school.  She learns while she plays and she plays while she learns.  My daughter is wiggly.  My daughter is not the best listener, and she craves attention--all the time.  And by the hand of God, He knew exactly where she needed to be and answered my prayer.

Two loving and amazing teachers that desire the best for every child.  Situations that can be handled inside the classroom are handled -inside the classroom.  The children are encouraged to make good decisions and are guided through higher order thinking skills to problem solve what could have been a better way to get to the desired outcome.

I don't need to know which child stepped on whose fingers when I pick up my child.  Unless it caused a major problem, that's not necessary.  That's what I experienced at Christ Church.  Minor things would be reported to parents as they picked up their child.  And it was in front of other parents, which is not necessary, either.  And so I'd hear reports that so and so's child eats too slowly.  So and so's child stepped on so and so's finger...seriously?!  Keep it the classroom!

And that is the professionalism you will find at Crievewood Baptist Church, the best preschool, PreK program in Nashville.
If it warrants informing the parent, they will do so...but otherwise, they'll handle it in their classrooms.  And that's exactly how it should be handled.
And for Carrie, she is having a great year.  Because she turns 5 on Sept. 27, she will need another year of preschool.  And she'll continue to grow and learn with the best of the best teachers in Nashville.
