| Why is it that we have all this nostalgia for snowy days, school cancellations, sledriding and hot cocoa without remembering things like: getting plowed in/out of your driveway, having your car washed every 15 minutes because of all the salt, shoveling your driveway in some futile, Sysyphus-like way just to have it cover over again? I'm sure living in Phoenix or Santa Fe would have its share of pros and cons like living in the arctic tundra of Ohio, but I look forward to the day when the weather forecast is for "summery mix" or "an accumulation of 6 inches of hot." |
