In September,  Walter started preschool 3 days a week at a church down the street.  He loves it and is making many friends.  The church offers a music and early keyboarding class "Jammin Judy" for one day a week where he is learning how to play the piano.

We celebrated Carrie's 2nd birthday.
I have made all their birthday cakes so I was determined to do a "Hello Kitty" cake and it was a great success.
I had a team working on it.  Most of the time I fly solo with some help from my mom.

This year it was a group effort with my two brothers helping me.  It was definitely worth sharing the glory.  It was so much fun!

and the cake... (with gluton free cupcakes on the top)

She is a package of terrible twos. She is so cute, and she uses that to her advantage already.
She crawled out of her crib while we were in Hawaii, so when we came back, we had to be ready for the change to a big bed. We had to turn her doorknob around so she would be locked in b/c she kept getting out of her room and into everything. Just in the last week, we have left her door open to have her try to fall asleep on her own. She has a history of falling asleep in other places beside her bed.

And Monti enters our life

I got a call from the Nashville Rescue Mission.  From time to time guys in the rehab program call houses to thank them for their financial support.  The Holy Spirit tugged on me to ask this gentleman how he was doing, how long he had been in the program, if I can pray for him and I invited him to church with us.  That was 4 months ago.  So again, we are called to adopt this man into our family.  He is fantastic.  He is full of love, full of life.  He will be going to Belmont University in the spring to get his business degree in recording industry.  The kids love him.  He has such an imagination and Walter loves to play Power Rangers with him.

And he is an incredible songwriter, and I think God has big plans for his music.
